Brunei Darussalam - What is Ride of Silence? according to Ride of Silence’s site is “in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways in a silent-slow paced ride max 20kph” . To all Brunei Cyclists, Please do join us this Wednesday:

Date : 20th of May 2009

When : Wednesday

Time : 20:15 hours

Venue : Stadium Hassanal Bolkiah (The main entrance infront of Budiman Walk)

i wonder if its similar to one minute's silence? because i remembered the hoo haa about muslims taking part in the 9/11 annual one minute silence by the international clerics dulu. i have no problems with it but i can see how the religious council in brunei can make this a hoo haa?

yarr it sounds fun. i have no probs with it. the white hats might. they have something against public vigils.

same thing with gigs, we do it for fun. white hats raid us. dunno.gif

I think because music is 'haram' that is why. lol
